Bandit
This is a picture of my dog BANDIT. He
was 13 years old and died in 2006. Bandit was a Llasa
Apso and he was definitely an alpha male dog. He was small,
only 17 pounds, but used to growl and bark at the large dogs
in the neighborhoods. The female dogs were very attracted to
him as well, and as you can see that he was a very handsome
guy. Bandit was a companion dog and was very loyal. He would
light up when I came in the house and then he would run
around in circles both directions. He loved to go for his
walks until his little legs wore out at the end. I really
enjoyed having him in my life and feel that he will be very
hard to replace. I loved him very much and still miss him to
this day.

Tessa
Tessa was our first family dog and she was the perfect family pet. She
loved playing with the kids and laying in the sun, trying to
catch flies – she was always surprised when she succeeded!
When Tessa got really sick from lung cancer, we decided to
put her down at home, where everyone could be there with her
to tell her how much we love her. It was a very emotional
day for everyone in the family and I am so happy that we
were all able to be there with her and say our goodbyes.

Gudder
Gudder adopted us in October 1999. He walked into our home and
never looked back. A physical brute of a cat, he was a true
gentleman and ever the love bug. His favorite pastime was as his
picture suggests, laying in the sun, being a rolly-polly. He
fought a valiant fight against cancer and died on February 25th,
2010. He is missed dearly by his family. There will never be
another Gudder. God rest our precious boy.

Napa
Napa pounced into our lives April 1996 as a feisty, snuggly Maltese
puppy. She promoted herself to the alpha in our family, placing
herself on-par with my husband, keeping us all in-line. She
brought us immense joy with her big black eyes, sweet kisses and
taught us the true meaning of unconditional love. She loved it
when Mike chased her, running faster, peeking over her shoulder
to ensure he was following. Napa passed away 13.5 years later;
that night, Mike couldn't chase her. Dr. Kelly eased our pain
while Napa went peacefully to puppy heaven surrounded by her
loving family.

Xena
Xena was a Lab/Shepherd mix and an amazing retriever. If she
was awake, it was Frisbee in the front or ball in the house.
Many times she would drop the toy just out of arms reach. So, I
taught her two important sentences: "Bring it closer" and "I
can't reach it." After hearing these, she would pick up the toy
where she dropped it and bring it to you. Xena loved hiking,
swimming, walks, laser pointer chase, car rides and hanging out
at my sister's.
After 2 years of illness she passed at home, with a pile of
balls in front of her.
Xena, my Ball & Frisbee Olympian won't be forgotten.

Rocky
In 2001, while in Africa working, we decided that we needed
to add to our family. Our daughters picked Rocky because, after
the whole litter ran away, he turned back and came to sit with
them. He Picked Us, we say! Rocky absolutely loved kids, and
they came to love him as the big Teddy Bear he was. Loyal,
always faithful, a true companion. There will never be another
like our "bubba"! Thank you In Home Final Pet Care, your team
made this very difficult process a peaceful ending for all of
our family. He was home where he needed to be to say goodbye!

James
Many people gravitated towards James, because he was so
good-natured and charming.
On his walks, passing pedestrians complimented him all
the time. He connected
with people young and old and from every walk of life.
You fell into one of two categories with him: you had met
him and he loved you, or you hadn’t yet met him, but he still
loved you. James taught
us so much about acceptance and being open to love.
We’re lucky to have been part of his life, and we miss
him so dearly. We love you, James.
